Stop Overthinking and Start Creating: How I Launched a Sold-Out Coaching Program in Just 10 Days

Okay, real talk—how many times have you had an AMAZING idea but then found yourself stuck in the quicksand of “how the heck am I going to pull this off?” 🙋‍♀️ It’s so easy to get wrapped up in all the mechanics—trying to figure out every little detail, overthinking every step, and convincing yourself that you need to have it all figured out before you even start. But let me share a little secret with you: sometimes, the best thing you can do is just decide to create it and figure out the rest later.

Here’s what happened to me recently: about a week and a half ago, I had this spark of an idea to create a group coaching program. Sounds exciting, right? But here’s the kicker—I had NO idea how I was going to make it happen. I hadn’t mapped out all the logistics, I didn’t have all the content ready to go, and I definitely didn’t have a step-by-step plan in place. But what I did have was a big ol’ belief in the value I could offer and a deep trust in myself to deliver on what I promised.

So, instead of getting bogged down in the “how,” I made a decision: I’m going to create this program. I’m going to sell it. And then, I’m going to build it.

Fast forward to today, and guess what? That coaching program? It’s SOLD OUT, baby! 🎉 In just a week and a half, every single spot was snatched up by incredible women who are ready to take their social media game to the next level. If I had let myself get caught up in all the little problems and mechanics, this would never have happened.

Here’s What I Learned: Stop Giving Yourself Time to Say “I Can’t”

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you’ve got to stop giving yourself time to talk yourself out of your dreams. Here are a few tips to help you get into action mode and keep moving forward:

  1. Set a Deadline and Stick to It: If you’ve got an idea, give yourself a deadline to start working on it—like, yesterday! 😉 The longer you wait, the more time you give yourself to overthink and come up with reasons why you can’t do it. So, set a date and commit to taking that first step, even if it’s a small one.

  2. Break It Down: Big ideas can feel overwhelming, but if you break them down into smaller, manageable steps, they become a lot less scary. Write down what needs to be done, and tackle each task one at a time. Before you know it, you’ll be making serious progress!

  3. Take Imperfect Action: Perfection is the enemy of progress, my friend! Don’t wait until everything is perfect to get started—because guess what? It never will be. Embrace imperfection, take messy action, and trust that you’ll learn and improve along the way.

  4. Remember: Success is a Game of Consistency & Resilience: Every idea isn’t going to be a million-dollar idea, and that’s okay! What matters most is that you keep showing up, keep creating, and keep pushing forward. You’ll never know what could happen if you don’t start, so give yourself permission to try, to fail, and to try again.
